The Cardiology Service at the UF Large Animal Hospital specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart problems in horses and large animals. Our team of experts includes cardiologists, internists, surgeons, and anesthesiologists, all working together to provide comprehensive care for these complex cases.
To provide the best possible care, our team works collaboratively across disciplines, including large animal internal medicine, equine lameness and imaging, and equine surgery.
This interdisciplinary approach ensures that our horses receive the most advanced and effective treatment options, from diagnosis to recovery. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities and innovative treatments make us a leader in equine and large animal cardiology care.
