Reproduction
The equine veterinarians of the UF Large Animal Hospital Reproduction Service provide complete horse and large animal breeding and reproductive care to the Gainesville, Ocala, Jacksonville, and surrounding Florida areas, although our patients come from all over the United States. The UF reproduction veterinarians and support staff handle basic and advanced large animal reproductive procedures and specialize in:
- Evaluation and breeding management of the problem mare
- Management of high-risk pregnancies
- Advanced stallion evaluation
The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and for on-farm breeding and reproductive examinations and consultations in all species of large animals. For beef and dairy cattle herds, please see FARMS.
