Farrier

The University of Florida farrier works under the direction of the Equine Lameness & Imaging and Surgery services. By operating under the guidance of board-certified veterinarians in surgery, radiology, and sports medicine and rehabilitation, our farrier can address complex or chronic problems, apply therapeutic shoes, or shoe for performance. This team approach uses our complete range of capabilities and diagnostic modalities to identify and treat any condition.

Our veterinarians and farrier can also provide recommendations or instructions for follow-up care on the farm.
